Too bad for these key positions, for those who are complaining and for those whom their poor services will be affecting and worse more for the country and for our past. Should I say shame on the skilled people of this country who will rather die with the wealth of their skills rather than helping humanity and the country by transferring them? Talking about the banana republics, who created the faults in those republic that qualify them as such? this is however not a thumbs up for those found to be in the bound wagon of under qualified position holders and those larking in skill to be where they are
The issue of skill transfer has been debated many times on our radios and each time many floors are exposed and why some skilled people who would help trained other have been shying away from passing on their skills.
It is a business and a lucrative one at that, where a skill which should form part of a department in an office has become a specialty which government has to contract to do its job, for this reason, many of these skilled people will rather hold on to their skill and bid for tender to offer simple service to the government.
My worry and anger is that the same leadership which is being castigated for bad service delivery seem to be doing nothing to bridge this epilepsy staining its jobs to the people.
Why lament then, why point fingers. Why criticise those who are venturing to rise up to what has been denied of them? This is the issue of doing the right thing and it concerns us all.
