Discrimination and Racism in the God”s House

Even the church and the people of God living in our rainbow country experience racial discrimination.

It Was with the Sisters of a community somewhere in Orangegroove that racial discrimination first caused me to begin contemplating changing my attitude toward clergy people.

God’s calling they call it and not the calling of people or the church. But those whin whose hand the decision to format and shape the lives of those who respond to the call of God have come to assume the position of deciding for God who he should call and where these he call should carry out God’s works for him.

Today, a seminarian who relayed to us his experience with some people in the parish , left us all feeling sorry for people in his shoes. Some of the parishioners who listened to him are not surprise having experienced the treatment meted out to blacks worshiping with them.

The white priests who in most cases are left with the parish for more than long enough time as the parish priest put aside the spirit of Godliness to pursue the interest of the white parishioners who find it difficult to embrace transformation.

The truth about new age Christianity is that serving God as Christ followers have been taken over by powers of the world and today’s politics economic and commerce, hence the commercializing of God’s service, works follower ship and measures of commitment.
